Sarah knew she wanted to become a physical therapist after following an internship at a local clinic back home. She realized physical therapy would allow her to help those in her community and would be able to help them through their entire process. Sarah loved being able to see someone on day one post-surgery or with injury and then seeing them on their last day back to 100% and back to what they love!
Sarah attended University of Virginia (Go Hoo’s!!) and received a Bachelor of Science for her undergrad in 2015. Sarah then went toElon University and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2019.
“I love working with runners and endurance athletes and did a lot of work during my time at Elon in running and with the athletic department. I also enjoy working with LE injuries and back pain, post-op shoulders, and post-op knees.”
Outside of work Sarah enjoys running and training for races, she’s competed in the Spartan Super Race and 2 half-marathons!. Sarah loves hiking and camping and exploring different outdoor adventures. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, Jake!
